Paid U2.com members learned today that U22 — the latest fanclub-only CD — may be on its way within the next few weeks. A U2.com email arriving today says “it’s looking good for an early May release” and promises more details as the date gets closer.

U2 is nominated in the Top Touring Artist category at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards, which will be announced next month in Las Vegas.
