Currently on the hunt for accomodation in Dublin for July gigs. I'm only going to the one on July 25th, finding it v hard to find anywhere that isn't charging extortionate prices for that weekend so was wondering if anybody here could suggest anywhere that might be some way reasonable. Considering staying outside the city, perhaps at Newlands Cross direction, and travelling in and out, if anybody has experience in this regard it would be greatly appreciated...

Hi David,
Did you try Barrys Hotel , its only about 15 mins from Croke Park and really cheap.. Think The Comfort Inn Parnell Square is a good price aswell, if available..

You might want to check out Trinity College as well. Have not looked lately to see if rooms are still available -- but it is worth a look.
