Hiya,

I know what you mean, if I could have gone to all three I would have.  Was listening on the radio on Saturday about all these fans that had tickets for all 3 gigs!!  I wouldnt have been able to afford it so going to the pub was the next best thing :o)

I went to Riverdance on Sat Night instead.....impulse 'fancy having a look at that' fuelled by a bit of Jamesons LOL.....was pretty good actually, glad I did a whole weekend in Dublin, was totally worth it....have to say what bloody friendly people there are there too....nothing too much trouble and really welcoming...

Gotta detox for the rest of this week my liver is screaming :o)

Well yeah i would say that's true......

New Wembley is pretty amazing but have to say.......they killed it by taking down the old Wembley....no history there now...   :o)  Croke Park however was in one word unbelievable.

I had my own personal Irish tour guide so I got to see and go to all the best places :o)....even lost all my money at the Curragh on Sunday (gotta brush up on my knowledge of the gee gees).....spent an interesting and very NOISY journey back on the train from Kildare to Dublin with all the fans who had been to see the game....then straight back out to the pub and back again to see US2 (again :o).......flew home today....what an experience.....  :o)

What can I say? I had a great few nights at the Saturday and Monday gigs. I brought my son James with me to both concerts though I didn't tell him about the second concert until Monday afternoon at Cork airport. A big thanks to the lads at Electric Co for organising the pre gig event on the Saturday afternoon. I brought James along and he absolutely loved it. He even went up on stage for "Still Haven't Found" with US2. I was so proud of him as you can imagine. The concert itself was outstanding. We were sitting over by the corner by the stage. After the concert U2 walked past were we were sitting. Myself and another guy roared over to Bono while they passed and Bono as the eternal crowd pleaser came over to shake hands. I grabbed James and lifted him up to railing so he could reach Bono. Bono tried to reach James to shake his hand but was moved on by security as people were gathering. He was within a fingernail away from shaking his hand. Ironically I didn't get to see any of this as I was behind James lifting him up. It was then I realised if I had just went to shake Bono's hand myself I probably would have. The things we do for our kids? Great memories and great music. All the more special thanks to Electric Co...I really meant that! Thanks guys! Sean
